Some people find them creepy, and think i’m weird for being a doll lover – but I just can’t help it! I think it’s the little girl in me.
If you’re not familiar with Blythe dolls, they started way back in 1972 and are widely known for their huge colour-change eyes.
Blythe fans often customise their dolls clothes, hair and make-up, as well as taking incredible pictures of them in a variety of settings which leads to them showcasing their sewing and customisation skills. The little accessories you can buy for these dolls are really out-of-this-world cute.
There is some amazing blythe photography out there, with 90% of my Flickr Favourites being blythe images!

They are relatively expensive, and also hard to get hold of in Shops, but there are plenty of places online that you can buy one of these beauties. This place is your best bet for a cheaper blythe, however, they can also be purchased via eBay and Thisisblythe.com.
And of course, another thing I love is Blythe fashion! A book entitled ‘Blythe Style’, by Gina Garan, showcases 131 custom outfits designed by fashion houses throughout the world including Prada, Dior, Milk, Versace and many more. This can be found here.
I myself have two dolls, their photos can be found at my Flickr.
I warn you, these dolls can soon become an obsession!
So, what do you think? Have I converted anyone?
