everyone has their own style, or taste in clothing. Believe it or not, i’m still trying to find mine. Despite buying clothing left right and centre and bunging them together in an easy and cautious way, I still don’t dress how i’d like to. Why is it that happens? I’m sure it can’t just be me. Sometimes I come across collections that I like the look of, and other times I come across collections and think “YES. that’s what i’m going for” – exactly what I said (in my head..of course..) when I saw the Lover A/W collection.
You might be a little confused, because, I don’t think i’ve ever put together an outfit that could resemble one in this latest Lover collection, but these images are really huge inspirations to me and sort of define how i’d like to look on a day to day basis. Looking at the amount of basics featured in the collection it shouldn’t be that hard to emulate this look, I mean, i’ve certainly got ripped tights and a few shirts, but i’m not quite there yet. Maybe I need to start carrying around a straw boater…

Such perfect easy day wear…although I cant stand boaters thanks to having to wear one in primary school! I think what you said is true for a lot of people, my friend is def nodding her head in agreement…where as I find I switch styles too often to have a ‘look’ I suppose, just signature aspects instead. It’s interesting that you love APC and Lover, I always see your style as a lot more quirky, filled with polka dot etc!

Ugh, that happens to me too. Always.
For me, it’s mostly because most of the clothes I buy don’t convey the style I’m going for alone. They need other garments worn along with them that do for my outfits to work how I want them to.
So I basically have a wadrobe almost completely made up of clothing that is Nearllyy right. But not quite.

I know exactly what you mean – I’m always drawn to very casual chic collections, yet I end up dressing rather preppy most of the time. Maybe we’ll evolve into the styles we really want

I know what you mean. I’m still trying to find my look. I can’t say I love everything about this collection, but I think it’s my favorite this season. If only Lover weren’t so darn expensive.

I was planning on buying a straw boater in summer (there is only one store that I know of in my city), after I saw the preview for this collection. But now it is winter in a few days so it looks like no go anytime soon
