It’s easy to forget that I dont just live on my computer, not just for you, but for me too. It’s become increasingly harder to have the time to post here (don’t worry, i’m not going to stop trying!), so I thought i’d show you a bit of what I do when i’m not in my little blogging bubble – So please forgive me for short and sporadic posting, I need to get into a routine! Any tips?
I’ve been at Uni for over a month now, and i’ve been doing fashion illustrations for beginners (i’ll teach you if you like!?) and creating my own 1920s style Vogue cover (aptly titled ‘Vouge’, I can spell!) which I screen printed earlier today. Of course, that’s not just it..i’ve just returned from a history of art lesson..
Everything is busy busy busy and i’m in the process of creating a London Street Style Handbook – I can’t wait to share it with you.
What do you get upto when you’re not on the internet?! x
Sorry about the mad capital letters, I just want to make sure you can find it as the shop isn’t working in this post – booo! Let me know how you get on!
You may have heard (..but probably not..) that the Cadbury Bunny has had a bit of a make-over. Quite frankly, I think she looks rather scary, but she’s got a fab dress, right? It was designed by Giles Deacon, obviously inspired by the chocolate itself…yum!
But more importantly for you, Giles also designed a special limited edition scarf (as seen above) that will be available online via various blogs, including WishWishWish, and Mademoiselle Robot. It’s a rather new concept, but on the 30th of October (mark it in your diaries!) for a period of around 30 minutes, there will be a Pop-up shop on WishWishWish where you’ll virtually queue up and will be able to claim your own free Designer Giles Deacon scarf – it will be packed up for you in front of your very eyes by a REAL shop-girl, cool, eh?! I can’t wait to see how it’s going to work!
To find out what time to visit to claim your free scarf, you’ll have to become a fan of the Caramel Bunny on Facebook, and keep your eyes peeled, because that’s where they’ll be announcing it – not even I know when it’ll be!
You can check my twitter for extra info nearer the time, until then, you’ll have to wait in anticipation..! I hope I manage to get my hands on one too – it’ll look gorgeous jazzing up a plainer top, tied around a handbag, or anything else for that matter!
If you’re confused about how it’s going to work, just ask and i’ll try and help out – good luck xx
Another video!! I had to go to Camden to do a little research for a Street Style book i’m putting together for university, and maybe I have too high a standard because I didn’t manage to find anybody that I wanted to photograph – obviously they are all sane and were avoiding the weekend crowds.
This meant we had the time to make another video! I say we, but it’s pretty evident from the video that I was more interested in shopping – Miguel kept catching me by surprise, resulting in a lots of clips of me awkwardly poking my tongue out..! We were going for a different feel from the original video we made – I hope you like it!
If you’ve been to London, you’ve probably been to Camden. Being there reminds me of being at some sort of festival, all the food, the loud music, the huge variety of people. I hope we’ve managed to capture what it feels like at Camden Markets on a Saturday for those of you that have never been. (and if you want any additional info on shopping in Camden, feel free to ask!)
The music is by The Libertines and the clothes (i’m afraid to say..!) are all from Topshop – I didn’t plan on wearing the red beret again, but it gave the dark outfit a much needed colour-pop! And I finally got to wear my winter boots! xx
