London Shops: My Sugarland

a bag I that I fell in love with…

As I told you in the previous post, i’m currently interning at My Sugarland, a boutique in Islington, London. I’d only been in once before and it completely stuck out to me as being my dream shop; the way everything is presented is so inviting, it’s almost like a collection of my favourite things in one place – I knew i’d have to photograph it for you. Whilst it may look like an extremely well presented vintage shop, My Sugarland is much more..! They also stock some amazing designers – unfortunately, they are a little bit out of my price range (not ridiculously though, so some saving could be in order!) so i’ll concentrate on the bits that I could afford.

The Skull Headband by Havva, below, is one of my favourite items stocked (The Blair Waldorf in me is on the lookout for the perfect headband!!) along with some of the beautiful dollhouse jewellery and accessories. How cute are the bow necklaces? They would look like little bow-ties when worn, and they were affordable too.

Although I love the clothing, my favourite part about the shop is the way it’s decorated. Luckily, My Sugarland sell the bits and pieces that make it so visually appealing, like the hat boxes, suitcases, clocks, door-knobs and containers so you can make your own home a sugarland too. I remember photographing the collection of vintage pictures above the fireplace the first time I visited, and that is now a feature of my own house..remember?

If you’re in London, i’d definately reccomend a visit to My Sugarland, I have no doubt that there would be something for you to fall in love with. If you can’t get to London, you can find most of the products online.

402 – 404 St Johns Street, London. EC1V 4NJ Nearest Tube: Angel

Possibly my favourite item: Havva Skull Headband

Ruby Tuesday Jewellery – so cute!

i’d like to mention that I didn’t feel obliged to write this because i’m working at My Sugarland, I totally loved it beforehand and this has given me the opportunity to get some pretty pictures and share it with you! Have a lovely Sunday and see you soon for the blogs 2nd birthday! xx
