A Little Film
Nestled up there between the sub-par blurry pictures (I was trying to sneakily take them as I walked past peoples stalls as I was walking to the car..) is a little video Miguel created of the flea market yesterday. It’s not particularly fashion related at all but we wanted to try out a new technique and Miguel never passes up on an opportunity to make a film! For most of it I was completely unaware I was being filmed, hence all the serious-face – plus – I was looking out for bargains (..despite the fact I had no purse with me as i’d left it in Cornwall..but that’s a different story!).
For those of you interested (I was asked a few times on Twitter!) the market is located at the Bath & West showground in Somerset. I would have bought so much furniture if I had any money on me, I was in awe. Despite all the vintage clothes rails I didn’t manage to find anything that excited me..which is just as well..! I’m hoping to go back next time and pick up some bargains.
On a Side Note…
Tomorrow is the last day of voting for the Cosmopolitan Blog Awards..and I know I’ve asked you already and don’t want to sound like an annoying stuck record, but if you haven’t voted yet, i’d love if you could spare a second to vote for WishWishWish in the Fashion & Style category. It’s my birthday tomorrow and would be a fabulous present if I found out i’d somehow won..!

The video is really good! You look lovely

Firstly Carrie, I must say that you are so beautiful! It is quite cool to see “Carrie in action” ie “shopping” with that serious face!

Yum yum yum! I have to get to a car boot sale or flea market next weekend or I will explode. Happy birthday tomorrow!
Cute video, and I’ve always loved that song! Really is it cold enough in England for a coat already? I’ve just learned I’m moving there in less than a month and am definitely worried about how to transform my summer clothes… ; X
It’s already two in the night here – so happy birthday, Carrie! I hope you will have a wonderful and memorable day
Oh, and fingers crossed you win the award!
That flea marked looks absolutely lovely. It looks as if it’s filled with vintage furniture, trinkets and little things. Do you know how Miguel created the smoke (or smokey effect) in the video? I really love how it looks with that!
It’s my birthday on the 31st as well, so happy birthday to us I guess! Love your blog, your pictures of Cornwall make me incredibly nostalgic for my own summer holiday. I spent a week there in July and loved every minute – it’s so fantastically beautiful.
Your photos are always inspiring and beautiful!

That flea market looks lovely, I wish there was ones like that where I live, I really must try and find something local that’s similar! I love what’s in the photographs.
And that film is ever so good!

If you ever happen to be in Belgium I suggest you check out the antique market in Tongeren – it’s the largest flea/antique market from the Benelux and while you wander around, you can enjoy the scenery of the crumbling stone wall that dates back to Medieval Times!
Yet another amazing video by the way. Is Miguel interested in becoming a film director?
i love the green suitcase
Darling, you are so inspiring. I love, love your pictures! And this flea market seems wonderful. I also love the video and I’m truly in love with the binoculars shown at one point.
I’m voting for you, dear!
XOXO-

That video is so supercute- I love it (esp. the music :])!
The pictures and the video, beautiful as always! I love how the video has the slight shakey focus of a flickery old film
The music is perfect too.
if anyone is wondering, the music is ‘I had the craziest dream’ by Harry James
