5 Homeware Tips!

1. Pretty Plates

As soon as I saw the Etsy shop selling these plates, The Storybook Rabbit, I planned which three I would buy and very nearly put them all in my basket. Unfortunately my bank balance prevented me from going any further, but they really are beautiful and are sold for such a great price. I have just the place in my bedroom to put them..so now i’m just waiting until I have a little money stored up to splash out on some art for my walls.

2. Tea Cup Desk Tidy

So amazing! I mean, you could probably just pop out to your local charity shop and find old crockery to store your paperclips and pencils, but this design by Black + Blum has stuck in my mind since I first saw it. If you are a new university student, it’s the perfect way to accessorise your new desk (but at £22, probably not your first choice..!) Find it at Black + Blum

3. A Tray For Your Breakfast!

Who doesn’t like breakfast in bed? i’d love it even more if I had this tray to eat it from! I suppose it isn’t exactly a way to decorate your home, but nobody said you couldn’t use it in your office or even bathroom to store your goodies. I’d prefer it with a plate of freshly made pancakes and a glass of juice though..! Find it at helpyourshelf.co.uk

4. Orla Kiely Radio

I found out about this radio earlier and squealed a little. I’m such an Orla Kiely fangirl, it’s getting quite ridiculous! I don’t even listen to the radio, but to have this beauty on in the kitchen whilst i’m cooking would be a dream. I wouldn’t spend £10 on a radio, nevermind the £150 they’ll be asking for it when it comes out in November at John Lewis, but, like I said, it’s nice to dream!

5. Embroidery Hoop Chalkboard

The perfect chalkboard for writing little notes to your housemates on! For those of you that hadn’t heard yet, my friend Lucy (she’s just done a post about her new room!) has moved in with us – unfortunately we spend far too long in each others rooms chatting away, so the chalkboard wouldn’t be put to good use, but it would certainly look nice! You can find these and more at Bliss in a Teacup

See you at the weekend x
