Shiny Shiny Shoes (and a massive jumper)

£3 jumper

It gets to this time of year, and it suddenly hits me: I don’t know what to wear in winter. I used to tell myself that winter was my favourite month for dressing – after all i’m a huge fan of my coat collection, but over the summer my outfits have become simpler, and i’m not ready to leave the dress and heels combo behind just yet.
Whilst I doing the charity shop rounds the other day, I came across this extra large jumper – i’m sure the only things that possessed me to buy it was that it was stripey, and looked extremely comfortable to wear to uni on a cold day – not to mention lazing around the house, which is where this mini shoot was born.
I’m not really one for a 90s look at all, but it sort of came together that way – I blame the heavy influence of my housemate Lucy! (I took photos of her too! Pop over to her blog for a look) Altogether it was very simple: A Topshop mini dress with my charity shop jumper on top, tights and my new Russell & Bromley loafers. Yes, you heard me right – eek! I bought some new shoes. I told myself that I could buy a treat when my student loan finally came in, and I decided the most practical way of spending it would be on some much needed flat shoes – so voila! I’ve been eying up these shoes for over a year so when my other loafers fell to pieces, I knew I needed some to rely on and these are near perfect!
We thought we would take our photos inside for a change, so you could have a peek of our house, and so we could stay warm at the same time! Hope you like them.  P.S – Oscar says hello!
