When I came up with the name for the blog, I was imagining that I’d be posting a lot of wants and wishes here, after all, that’s what the internet is for, right? Finding and consequently drooling over things you’ll probably never afford. The above ‘books’ are just one of those wishes, and something I could never afford.
Costing a whopping €1087, these Olympia Le-Tan book clutches are far, far out of reach, but they’ve got me really inspired. I don’t know if I’ve told you, but I used to study English Literature and thoroughly enjoyed reading the classics, so why not carry around my bits and bobs in them too? I smell a DIY coming on..an old book, some liberty print fabric, and a lot of cutting and embroidery later..I’ll probably come up with something far far less beautiful, but it’s worth a try, right? Even if it’s only stable enough to keep my secrets in. I’ll let you know if I ever get the time to start on it!
See You Tomorrow! x

wooooah! That is a lot of money. Definitely DIY! I love the stitching details, they might be a bit tricky to do but they are gorgeous.
I tried making one of those a few years back…I failed bigtime..ut you seem quiet talented on DIY stuff so sure you’ll get a better resuklt than I did!
Maybe I’ll even try it again if I see you succeed
These are way cute! I love classic literature, and what a great way to celebrate that!
Have you seen the book bags by Yoda Hidemi? They are just beautiful, http://www.flickr.com/photos/43302795@N00/5413908528/ I managed to nad the “fairy” one.
