The Forest of Dean
Hello!! I’m still alive…! Piles of work have made me feel super guilty any time I’ve even thought about writing a blog post this past week..but it’s about bloomin’ time that I put up these pictures Miguel took when we went away to the Forest of Dean a few weeks ago.
When we weren’t lazing around in front of the fire watching films and playing scrabble in our log cabin (how amazing does that sound right now? ughh) we went on a few walks to explore our surroundings/frolic with squirrels. I have to say, my wardrobe doesn’t lend itself well to hiking about the woods, so when packing for the weekend I quickly threw in anything that looked a bit “foresty”. The end result was a bit of a mish-mash of greens and browns that made me look a bit like a tree…oops.

I can’t be the only one bored of winter tights, right? Instead I opted for some American Apparel socks to go with my vintage playsuit. I found them a bit too thick and long for my liking though – they remind me of playing hockey at school which is not a good thing in the slightest – It seems my hunt for the best over-the-knee goes on! The vintage coat is literally boyfriend cut as I stole it from Miguel, it’s big enough to fit over lots of warm layers.
I’ll be back again soon – I’m in the process of organising a London-based pop-up shop with my class to raise money for Japan – i’ll let you know the details asap as it’d be lovely to see some of you there! x

love love love these photos, we went to some woods up here by San Francisco yesterday. It’s nice to get away from the city to see beautiful untouched nature some times!
love the last picture
Lovely pictures. I have similiar knee socks and never know what to pair them with especially with it being so cold still. Thanks for the inspiration <3
Love these pictures! Brown and green really remind me of a tree together, but actually who doesn’t like trees? I have the same problem with over-the-knee socks, they just never have the right length, the right fitting or they keep going down all the time.
the forest looks absolutely amazing and that cabin, wow! your outfit is cute and even though it may not be the most appropriate for woodland actives it’s still super lovely. can’t wait to hear more about your pop up shop, sounds like a fantastic idea and the more money we all raise for japan the better

Lovely outfit and perfect setting for the photos!
I’m not sure why but I found this post super funny, specially the tree part even tho I don’t agree that you look like a tree!

Lovely pictures
I completely agree about winter tights…I’m fed up with tights, but it’s not warm enough to go bare legged yet! Plus, I always find that over the knee socks fall down :/ Roll on Summer!!
Supergreat pictures! And love love love your outfit
These pictures look like an Autumn look-book for Zara!
The outfit is stunning but were you not freezing a wee bit in the woods?
I love the little wave on your hair right at the bottom it makes everything look so vintage.

Your outfits are perfect. Such effortless chic-ness.
