565 Stables Market, Camden Town
Despite studying fashion, when I’m at uni, my interest in clothes completely falters, with no time to read blogs for inspiration or go vintage hunting, I get stuck in a sartorial rut. So now I’ve basically finished my second year of university (wooooooo) I’m making the most of my time off by actually leaving the house to see what I’ve been missing out on. And I certainly was missing out! I forgot the feeling of spotting a pretty patterned dress on a rail in a vintage shop and beaming at it’s less-than-£20 price tag
When Sanju invited me down to her vintage shop in Camden for a cuppa and a look around, I couldn’t resist hauling myself out of bed. Despite it’s tackier tendencies, Camden really is one of my favourite places in London, I’m forever coming across vintage shops that I hadn’t noticed before and Mero Retro happens to be one of them. Tucked away in a corner of the Stables Market, Sanju runs a little vintage treasure trove. I must have tried on 5 or more dresses whilst I was there – all vintage, hand-picked and imported from Japan (meaning the quality was great – all their vintage seems to be fully lined too). I’d definitely recommend stopping by when you’re in the area, I couldn’t have asked for friendlier service. It also happens to be where I picked up that sunflower dress in the previous post, I was Vegas shopping and thought I’d go for something a bit ‘sunnier’ than usual!
If you’re not London based, Mero Retro also have an eBay shop full of very reasonably priced pretty dresses too – take a look!

A Giveaway! Modeled by Yours Truly…
Sanju generously provided me with a couple of bits to give away to you lovely ladies – this sweet little boxy bag and a pair of sunglasses (I want them both!!!). I’ll also throw in a few other freebies for good measure!
All I ask in return is that you leave a comment on this post and ‘Like’ the Mero Retro Facebook page. I think it’s fantastic to support small businesses so it really isn’t much to ask in return for your freebies – plus then you can keep up-to-date with all their latest bits and bobs! The giveaway is open internationally, and I’ll draw the winner on Friday the 3rd of June so I have time to post your package before I head off on holiday. Good luck! x

Undeniably believe that which you said. Your favorite reason appeared to be on the internet the easiest thing to be aware of. I say to you, I definitely get annoyed while people think about worries that they just don’t know about. You managed to hit the nail upon the top as well as defined out the whole thing without having side-effects , people can take a signal. Will likely be back to get more. Thanks
hello i would absolutely love that bag. i live in a small town in North Carolina. where there are absolutely no fashionable stores, let alone vintage fashion. which is my favorite kind. at the moment i am earning money with my girl scout troop to go to london and paris in about a year and these are the stores i am really looking forward to. if i earn enough money i will definitely check out this store.
I would say “unbelievable” but that would be a lie.
