First and foremost, how pale am I?!! I practically blend into my bedroom wall! It’s lucky I’m in the habit of wearing bright red lippy lately or you might not have spotted me in these pictures. That will all change when I head off to Las Vegas on Monday I’m sure, I’m ready to stock up on the factor 50+!
Today I was feeling decidedly retro, with my vintage jumpsuit and red lips. The pièce de résistance was a polka-dot headband that I was sent as a gift from the lovely Mari who runs the headwear label Little Fille. I thought it was about time for a new hairdo and what better way than to add a colourful accessory? I’ve always been a hat girl but there is no saying I can’t be a headband girl too! I wanted to try it with my hair down (it’s getting rather long now you see) but I was getting the dreaded “mushroom hair” so gave up. If anybody has any tips on how to pull that off, do let me know!
The bows on Little Fille accessories are actually detachable, so before I popped out to the supermarket I took it off to tone down my look a little. If you fancy one of your own you can find them on the Little Fille website, or at Topshop Oxford Circus. Or, even better…win one here..!

How fun! I’ve just started getting back into wearing headscarves and I think that big bow would really brighten up my day (especially as the competition ends on my 29th birthday…would hugely cheer me up and make me feel less like crying in to a cup of tea!) lots of love, Jules x
