Headband - Topshop | Dress - Family Affairs
Circus Skills
As you can see from these ridiculously bright pictures, the sun did eventually show it’s face at Glastonbury! This made for a super happy Carrie as it meant I could wear the light-as-a-feather Family Affairs dress that Nina sent me a while back. As soon as I tried it on, I thought “Glastonbury”, and it sat patiently in waiting until last Sunday. I probably should have planned the outfit a little better as in hindsight the lighter coloured slip wasn’t the best thing to wear underneath, but that’s why I love blogging – if I wasn’t taking pictures of my outfits I probably wouldn’t spot the mistakes!
During the glorious sunset, my friends and I thought we’d practice our juggling and hula-hooping skills, of which I have very little…I could show off a bit of baton twirling from my majorette days though! It’s brilliant getting away from the hustle and bustle of the larger fields at the festival to come across little gems like the gypsy caravan and circus workshop above. Glastonbury Festival really is rather magical, even if I complained about rain/mud/aching feet for the most part! x

Love the gypsy caravan. Looks like you had so much fun. Reminds me a bit of when I won a hulla hoop contest when I was 8 for being able to keep it going for 45 minutes. I miss it. glad you had fun with your baton twirling.

I love the pictures in front of the caravan! They reminded me of those Kate Moss ones by…I forget the photographer’s name…might be Iain McKell?
I’m not going to lie, when I think “Glastonbury,” I pictured people looking kind of muddy and in need of a shower (obviously, in part, a flashback to my roadie days on Warped Tour), but you girls look so pretty and put together!
PS– I just got a lomo camera and need to figure out how to use it! Any tips are most appreciated!
Very nice pictures, amazing, the light and the colours are very beautiful! Good job ! I love your clothes and your blog too
xoxo
