top - American Apparel | skirt - Topshop | Necklace - c/o Rock 'N Rose Bag - Mulberry | Shoes - c/o Wanted shoes
Patent & Peachy Pink.
I never thought I’d wear a crop top, not in a million years. Funny what the changing trends can achieve, isn’t it?! I picked this American Apparel one up at the Buffalo Exchange for a few dollars in America. There is something I can’t resist about a comfy grey jersey! Even if it’s bagginess + my boobs make it a little tent-like if viewed from side-on! I’m still getting used to the fact that lifting up my arms means my pale midriff is on show, but why not embrace it? Even on a rainy day in England…
And what better colour to pair it with than my peachy pink Topshop sale skirt (remember, that one I cut up!). I know a few of you other bloggers have the same skirt – do you find that the pesky poppers undo when you sit down? Or is that a hint I need to slow down on the sausage sandwiches?!
I was also wearing one of my favourite necklaces – a teeny-weeny vintage silver harmonica on a chain, in full working order, so I can burst into tune at any given moment – a gift from Rock ‘N Rose.
Thank you to my mum for helping me take these pictures! x

You always look so vintage and happy! Love your blog! (and I never thought I were crop-tops either, now I do want them, but I don’t have one)

You look so adorable! mental note to self… embrace crop top
Your hat is absolutely lovely! I loove your style..
I love the look!
It looks lovely! The necklace is so wonderful. x
The whole outfit is well put together and the Mulberry bag is the perfect accessory. Photos are great too!
I love a crop top with a high-waisted skirt.
I love the hat! Too cute!
This looks lovely. I still can’t quite brave the crop tops, even though I love how it looks. I’ve tried and it just doesn’t feel right.
That skirt is great. As for the poppers, I don’t think its you at all! You look teeny! I find that sewing a little hook and eye closure inside next to each popper holds them invisibly. Hope that helps

Hello Carrie,
Thought I’d make my first comment!!…………….Sophie has the same problem with the poppers on this skirt so it’s certainly not a weight thing more a cheap, weak popper thing
Much love xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
Oh my goodness! I am a huge fan of your blog and after viewing your pictures today was an even bigger one- Last week I bought a mini harmonica necklace at American Eagle (They have some very pretty jewelry choices for Buy One Get One 1/2 Off) and wore it yesterday. I got so many compliments…. I am pleased to be on top of the trends!
Suas roupas e fotos são lindas, beijos !
Love the blog change! Pretty.I bet you could lattloy make that tree skirt. Get a big piece of fabric you like and cut it into the shape of a tree skirt. Take a wide ribbon you like or a fabric cut into long strips (finish the edges), and by hand sew a running stitch along one edge of the ribbon/strips, scrunching the fabric down into ruffles of the size you like. Tie off your thread, then pin and sew your ruffles to the base skirt working from the outer edge inward. I don’t think it would take you long at all.
You’re looking beautiful, as always! Great look btw
