Bat Print by the Beach

Sesimbra

It’s a bit odd dressing for 30° heat in October, isn’t it?! I’ve heard England is having equally as beautiful weather too! I was very much prepared for Autumn, with my mustards, burgundys and closed toe shoes, and whilst I knew I wouldn’t have to wear my tights here in Portugal, I wasn’t quite expecting sunglasses and flip-flops type weather.

So, for my trip to the coast I paired a corduroy skirt from American Apparel with the same French Sole flats I’ve not taken off my feet for the past month, and my new bat print blouse – a gift from MyLabel.co.uk. I recently partnered up with them to create a mini WishWishWish style shop, where I picked out my favourite products from the website – make sure to have a look! They’ve also generously given me a 15% off code, so make sure to enter WISH15 at checkout if you’re tempted by anything.

Whilst my shop is full of deer and pony prints, the shirt I picked for myself was a little different! I’ve always had a thing for bats (other My Chemical Romance fans will get it!) and I’m a bit of a closet goth too, so went for the Luella Bat Print Blouse by Numph. The pocket on it is silk, and it has a loose cut, so is somehow reminiscent of a pyjama top – a look I wish I’d embraced fully with a pair of comfy cropped trousers. Any excuse to walk around in pyjamas! x
