I woke up, got ready, and it was raining – typical. All I wanted to be able to do was go outside in all my pastel goodness without wearing any tights. I’m not sure why I have such an aversion to them – I think it’s something to do with my OCD-ish need to match colours perfectly, and seeing as I don’t own a pair of tights in every hue, it’s quite impossible. Not to mention that now I’m back in Somerset, there really isn’t anywhere to go, either!
I wanted to pair the Furla bag with something ladylike – If you caught the picture of me styling it on the Furla page you’ll see I’m sticking to a theme. Something soft and delicate. So the old Topshop dress that had been hanging on the back of my door, unworn since the last time I was home, seemed the perfect thing to pair it with.
Unfortunately I didn’t manage to actually get outside in this at all, but there is nothing like forward planning. Tell me I’m not the only one who looks through their own outfit posts for inspiration on occasion?! Perhaps it will be springtime before this bare legs and floaty pink combo see the light of day again. Now onto pushing myself out of my comfort zone a bit and pairing my new plastic bag with a more unusual colour combo..might be difficult with only half a suitcase of clothes on my side! Any suggestions? x
