Cat Lady

Or Squirrel Charmer…

I seemed to be both at the weekend, when out and about with Miguel and Mum who was over visiting. These pictures were taken in Russell Square, on what was a crisp, bright afternoon. My main goal was to show you the long-lusted-after Vivetta cat skirt that I finally splurged on last month. It’s my new favourite thing! What’s better than wearing a lookalike of your own kitty around your waist? Nothing, that’s what. It’s just the kind of playful design from Vivetta that I adore. If only I could afford the entire collection (I did make another naughty purchase but more on that at a later date!).

Judging by the pictures, it looks like my bright new My Suelly bag pulled the most focus though, ahhhhh it’s so beautiful! I couldn’t be more grateful, I can’t take my eyes off it. I’ve taken to placing it next to my computer screen, just so I can glance at it every now and again. Is it normal to feel this way about an accessory?!

If only I could spend every afternoon taking a walk in the park. With a nasty cold and dissertation draft deadline looming, I can’t help but feel I’m not going to have another afternoon like this for a little while. I’m more “PJs in bed with tissues surrounding me” than “pretty skirt in the park with falling leaves surrounding me” at the moment. Still..it’s nearly time to go home for Christmas! x

Ahh I’ve been looking forward to see this! The skirt looks amazing on you, Carrie :)
I know what you mean with PJs+tissue+deadlines, such an evil trio… I’ve just been through one of those and it was awful (plus sleepless nights!), but you’ll be enjoying delightfully lazy walks in the park again soon :) Stay warm and take care!

Carrie! I absolutely love your posts a little too much :) My boyfriend is pestering me that I should get back to studying for my pharmacology course instead of reading your blog, but I had to catch up since I missed the last two posts. Just wanted to drop a “keep up the amazing blog!” comment!
