Bath
One last outfit post before Christmas! A couple of days ago I spent the day in Bath with my mum doing a last minute Christmas shop. We evidently didn’t have much to do as we spent a large portion of our time eating/taking pictures. Unfortunately my only purchase was a new battery for my Macbook! Ouch. It’s such a beautiful city that it makes the perfect setting for pictures though, I always enjoy my visits there. If you live in the UK and haven’t been yet, you really should, it’s such a charming city.
I was dressed somewhat like a school girl (this probably rings true for a lot of my outfits), what with my chunky heels that look like replicas of ones I might have worn when I was about 13 – they have that ugliness to them that I just love! These ginger Topshop tights are another of my favourite recent purchases, so much so that when I was packing for Somerset and couldn’t find my first pair, I ordered another. I think the colour looks great with navy!
I hope you all have an amazing Christmas – this won’t be my last post, I’ve got a little giveaway planned for Christmas Day if you have a minute to pop by (I spend most of my time on the 25th waiting for turkey!), it’s a little collection of things that I’m sure you’re going to love : ) See you then x

Hello Carrie,
I just found out about your blog from Drastic Plastic and I must confess I totally love your style. I visited Bath several years ago, when I was still back in my high school and I found the town to be very fascinating.
Those ginger socks rock!
I wish you a delayed Merry Christmas!

My parents, boyfriend and I spent a couple of days in Bath in November – isn’t it just the most beautiful city!? So full of history and the architecture is utterly lovely – the funniest thing is that I took a photo of the very same door you’re stood in front of and posted about it here (small world!): http://beautifulclutter.blogspot.com/2011/11/i-doors.html
Hope you’ve had a wonderful Christmas with lots of laughter, mince pies and presents!
