Baggy Trousers

…and a dash of pink!

My second look for my ASOS Fashion Finder style challenge didn’t exactly put me out of my comfort zone (a blouse with a cat on, purrrlease!), but an item I was rather daunted by were these baggy trousers. I thought they’d look amazing…on somebody else, but gave it a go and got into character to take these shots. They’re the kind of trousers I’d pick up but put down again, knowing I’d need to wear massive heels to complete the look. But I have to thank ASOS, because it’s great to dress in something you might never have tried without that push – and let’s face it, it’d be a little boring around here if I were wearing the same dress and coat combo that I feel so secure in. My personal style has come on leaps and bounds since I began WishWishWish, and I’m sure some of you other personal style bloggers out there will be nodding along in agreement…

I accessorised my black and white ensemble with a dash of pink! If you hadn’t already spotted, I got hold of a couple pink clip-in extensions on eBay, and swirled them up and into my beehive. A cheap, quick way to update a hairdo that I’ve worn a million times before – and it resembled some sort of dessert from the back! I had a bit of a messy experience trying to get the hang of this ‘chalking’ trend, so this was a much cleaner approach!

If you haven’t already, pop over to the ASOS Fashion Finder page as it’s the last day of my takeover! They’ve covered everything from my style icons to my favourite beauty trends – I’m humbled to have been asked to take part! Thanks ASOS! x

The trousers look nice! They remind me of 20′s palazzo trousers herehttp://magazine.shoptiques.com/post/17656443527/fashion-always-repeats-itself-palazzo-pants , just redone :)

They look fantastic on you make your legs look really long. My style has absolutely evolved with my blog. I think I am more open to experimenting and more style conscious. I love Fashion Finder, have posted on there since they launched. Definitely prefer it to Lookbook. Only grungy looks get the most attention on there for some reason x

Even though you say the trousers are a bit out of your comfort zone, they’re still very sixties… very Carrie! (: And I love your chunky heels… I’ve been trying to look for some hiking boots with a very clunky heel… Know any places?!
    Thanks,

Love the bits of pink in your hair and the matching glasses, also the way you’re sitting on the pavement, checking your phone totally seems like a new character :) I do love how blogging makes us come out of our comfort zones and try new things.. xx

Oh the pink swirl is such fun! I really love how you’ve styled them, you’re always so clever with your hair! :) I actually ordered some coloured extensions a couple of days ago (got to love Ebay) so I’m hoping the shipping from Hong Kong doesn’t take forever so I can play with them soon.

    Cute hairdo! Genius idea :-)

I love the print on the pants and the heels you combined them with, not too particularly fond of the top of the trousers but hey, can’t win’m all, right? :-D Love to see you try new stuff, and I was indeed nodding in agreement, style blogging brings so much new to offer to your own personal style!

Agreed, they are a bit poofy around the crotch, which I find a problem with trousers, but what can ya do?! x
