It’s no secret that I love a bit of cake – who doesn’t? Now the bloggers/cupcakes hoo-ha seems to have died down, I feel I can pose once more alongside my colourful, sweet little friends.
The dark colours and straight lines must have been grating on me because on my second day in Stockholm I broke out the pastels and prettiness again. Just as well that we came across Cupcake STHLM on the way back from our pilgrimage to the much-anticipated Acne Archive store, as I fit in just nicely. One red velvet and one vanilla, please!
In my defence, I was wearing a bat on my t-shirt – and bats are a bit edgy, right? ; ) I’ll always have a bit of a soft spot for those particular winged creatures – as a My Chemical Romance fan I think it’s a rule or something. But whether we were dressed in ripped denim or in heart patterned tights, we dutifully snapped away before tucking in to our guilty pleasures. And they were good!

How do I not know about your blog before? Yum! My boyfriend and I were very much in the mood for cupcakes when we were in Stockholm and took the subway across town to get to that same shop, but I guess it was the one day they were closing early and they didn’t even have 2 to spare for us. Sad!

No, buuuuut, after that we headed straight to our friends’ flat for a glögg party where we had more than our share of gingersnaps and lussebullar, which more than made up for it
