Fashion Week Fatigue
My little corners of the internet have been a bit quiet over the past few days, and London Fashion Week is the main culprit. I’ve been rushing around the cobbles of Somerset House snapping away for the Cosmopolitan street style gallery, without a minute to tweet or Instagram what I was wearing on my own worn out feet! Well, here we have it. I realised when editing these pictures that I was a looking a little grumpier than usual – probably due to the fact I’d forgotten that my tootsies and these old Russell & Bromley loafers don’t get on too well! I was in a good mood, I promise!

On a far less glum note, this week I’m taking over on ASOS Fashion Finder! That means I’ll be sharing my favourite looks and taking part in a host of other features across the site from the 17th to the 24th. It wasn’t long ago that I signed up to Fashion Finder, fed up of the samey looks on Lookbook and on the hunt for another platform to share my outfits – if you’re not familiar with it, click on through and have a look at what I’ve been up to so far…
One of my tasks was to style up 5 items from the androgynous Man-Up trend, and this outfit was my first attempt. Androgynous isn’t really a word that sits too well with my usual flowery, cupcakey attire, so I welcomed the challenge! This blazer was the item that I was most worried about, in a print and colour I’d never usually pick for myself. But when paired with a few of my favourite pieces, it didn’t look a jot out of place. I’ll be posting the rest of my looks over the week, so keep an eye out! x

I have just discovered your website and am amazed by your beautiful photography! Thank you so much for the tutorial and Photoshop actions! I really love your style!
I happen to like this outfit! It’s different to your other ones but it still retains that vintage-sque quality about me. I really love the skirt and how you’ve mixed in some modern trends in there too.
Your website makes me think of wonderful nostalgic moments of an era that we don’t live in anymore and wish we did! I’m going to order your magazine soon (once I’ve moved into my new house) as a thank you for your sharing of tutorials/actions and also because it looks so darn cute!

Although I don’t think blazers like these suit my figure, I absolutely love it and I think it looks great on you. The pattern is lovely and very subtle but it goes well with the outfit you have chosen and gives it a certain edge.
Cute outfit, love the jacket!
