The Old Town

Here is my last little bit of Stockholm. On our last day, we took some time away from the hustle and bustle of the shows to go and explore the old town, Gamla stan. It’s funny – you can travel across a bridge in Stockholm and it feels as if you’ve been transported to a different city entirely. This part was my favourite, with the old cobbles, winding streets and sense of history – I always fall in love with the part of the city that has crumbling buildings and uneven floors, despite the swarms of people filling the tiny streets and the tacky tourist shops (I heart Swedish boys tee, anyone?).  It also seemed fitting to have Swedish meatballs for the first time (I’ve only been to Ikea once and meatballs weren’t on my agenda) at lunch with Chantal, Lisa and Marianna, and they didn’t disappoint!

How glad are you that dressing in clothing that resembles a pair of pyjamas is acceptable?! I think my slouchy slogan tee added to the just got out of bed look, along with my messy up-do. Any of my friends will tell you how much I enjoy wearing my pyjamas, so sauntering around Stockholm in this little suit was a dream come true. I’d meant to photograph myself in this Topshop combo whilst I was in Portugal, as their famous tiles resemble the pink and purple print, but alas, Gamla stan was a perfect alternative. I plan on embracing the pyjama trend to it’s fullest!

Thanks again to Bloggers Wardrobe for your hospitality- I had the best time! x
