Cat Lady

Or not, as it happens.

Psssttttt! Can I let you in to a little secret? I’m not really a cat lady. Yup. I’d much rather a big dog curled up next to me, but apparently the amount of feline paraphernalia in my wardrobe says otherwise. It all started when I fell in love with Vivetta’s famous cat skirt, then my obsession led to the purchase of a pair of Charlotte Olympia Kitty flats, that I don’t believe I’ve ever really introduced you to…

Over £500 isn’t a price I’d usually pay for a pair of shoes, despite having pinned and tweeted about these beauties on numerous occasions. So I couldn’t believe my luck (understatement doesn’t cover it) when I spotted them in the Charlotte Olympia outlet at Bicester Village. The only pair. In my size. AND a few of those hundreds knocked off. I was sold. I’ve not seen another pair like them – leather and studded – so I can only assume they were a sample never put in to production, making them seem even more special. Phewww. I’m practically hyperventilating over a pair of shoes..is it bad that I’ve considered saving for another pair for when I inevitably wear these out? Yes. Probably.

The next garment added to my catty collection is my Leah Goren dress, a present from Miguel on my birthday this year. It’s first outing was a trip to zoo, and now I’m looking forward to wearing it with tights and colourful coats for Autumn.

Now, next on my hit list are those pearly cat ears from ASOS… x
