Wooly
Once Christmas is done and dusted, it’s easy to get caught up in thoughts of springtime and weaning yourself off tights, but it’s still darn cold out there, and winter warmers are most definitely still required. Anyway, I’m just getting used to this cold weather malarkey – I even cracked out the ankle boots for this little walk Miguel and I took on Hampstead Heath – that must mean it’s cold out there.![]()
This huge green space is just a short walk from our new place, and such a treat for a couple of people used to living in the countryside. Admittedly, the fields I used to live near weren’t full of hip couples with pugs or people pushing prams, but I can’t complain – I still did a fair amount of puddle-splashing based on the state of my shoes in these pictures!
I’m not going to lie, I’m most definitely looking forward to swishing about in pretty dresses again, but there is something very satisfying about putting on a bobble hat and boots for a muddy walk. x

Cute photos! ♥
You’re totally right, there’s definitely something nice about dressing down for a little while – I don’t know if it’s just me but I always fret my favourite dresses may get marked and that can ruin some of the fun! (Although, prancing around in pretty dresses is always a lot of fun in itself too…)
The colour of that scarf is wonderful!

You’re right, Hampstead Heath is great for city-dwellers with country hearts! and i love your scarf!x

This is probably my favorite kind of outfit! I love dressing for winter so much, but that’s probably because I grew up in a really hot country. I can’t wait to go back to the UK and whip out those bobble hats and scarves with a vengeance! Your bag is gorgeous as well, is it Mulberry too?

This whole outfit is just beautiful, I absolutely adore that scarf! Believe it or not but here in Manchester it’s really quite mild at the moment! I went out with bare legs just yesterday (despite looking rather pasty white) xxx http://athousandseasons.blogspot.co.uk/

love the photos!! the coat is super nice!
Beautiful!
Wearing all those winter knits is SO satisfying! I think it’s just another want-what-you-don’t-have syndrome effect – when it’s cold out, you miss the swishy dresses, and when it’s swishy-dress season, you miss cosy knit accessories! It’s the impossible game.
