The Telephone Boxes

…And another cat hat

Whilst red telephone boxes look rather charming and British and all that, they are really just bright red toilets and/or advertising space for ladies of the night, as I discovered when goofing around with my pal Dina and taking some snaps. Consider that a warning! It had been a very long time since I’d actually required the use of a telephone box. I think the last time might have been a few years ago when Miguel fell asleep, locking me out of the house – he didn’t even answer and I found myself biding my time in McDonalds. Still, they look quite nice, don’t they?

I thought I fit in quite well in my red coat – like one of the Queen’s guards perhaps, only wearing cat ears on my head rather than a bearskin (no cats were harmed in the making of this hat, promise). Again, my adoration for animal-themed accessories earned me a few funny looks, but that just made me smile- people take fashion too seriously!

Bright colours are definitely on my agenda for the next month or so until it’s time to get my pale legs out again. Even if it isn’t bright outside, there is no reason that I shouldn’t be, right?! x
