Croissants for Breakfast
I’m such a tourist every time I’m in Paris. It’s all about croissants for breakfast, Laduree for lunch and a stroll to the Eiffel Tower for dessert. I’m not sure how many times I have to visit for that effect to rub off – I can’t imagine it being any time soon – I’m still pining for a few Amelie style strolls around Montmartre. I can see you French lot rolling your eyes ; )

I was in Paris with the wonderful Nina Ricci for the launch of their latest fragrance (more about that at a later date!) and had a little time off to wander the streets alone before catching up with a few new faces. My favourite thing about these little trips that I’m lucky enough to go on are the people I meet when I’m there. This time it was Brazilian Lia, Russian Eugenia and a bunch of other pretty ladies from across the globe. Aside from making new friends, it gives me a chance to brush up on other languages (read: learn how to say hello/goodbye/thank you). I’m sure I’d move to Paris in a heartbeat if I had any clue how to speak the language!
More on this trip very soon (including pictures of me hanging out with a snowy owl. Best. Time. Ever.) x

I just came back from Paris on Saturday! I love going to Laduree it makes me the happiest person alive even if it’s bad for my attempted weight loss! Very jealous that you went to a Nina Ricci event, the novelty for my friends of giving me Nina Ricci products because I have the same name hasn’t worn off yet. You look gorgeous and very chic as usual

I think that Paris is a city that you can feel both utterly at home and completely tourist-y in. Homey and magical all at once.
Ohhhh i can’t wait to hear about this new project! I’m sure you worked some Portuguese words that Miguel taught you on the brazilian blogger. Haha! [P.S. Kinda kicking myself for not buying those Zara flats. They are divine!]
