Glastonbury Festival: Day 2&3

I didn’t take a great amount of photos at Glastonbury, it’s just such a hassle, especially when you’re doing more important things like..eating chocolate covered waffles for breakfast, for example. That, and the fact that I resented my camera a little for being so heavy and taking up so much room in my bag.

But I shouldn’t complain, because I met Jarvis Cocker. If you’re unsure as to who that slightly unkempt man in the picture with myself  (looking a little starstruck, I admit) above is, then you need to get in touch because I need to give you some serious music recommendations! I informed him that i’d been listening to his music since I was about 5 years old, to which he replied “oh great, that makes me feel old”. I also let him know that the pictures would be going online – so here you go Jarvis!

Other stars spotted include Lily Allen, who I realised I was sat next to, wearing next-to-nothing and Chanel pumps (oh how the other half live!), and Carl Barat looking too cool and overlooking Emily Eavis’ flirtatious attempts. Also spotted was designer Pearl Lowe in a beautiful floral dress, having an argument with her husband.

For those of us that couldn’t afford to wear chanel to a muddy farm, wellies and (strangely enough) flip-flops seemed to be the footwear staples. Along with floral head bands, trilby hats (on everyone!) and neon. lovely. But there isn’t much time for looking good when there is so much to do and not a full-length mirror in sight. Anyway, I was much too busy eating waffles…

P.S – I’ve finished college forever with the best possible grades! hooray!
