I never thought i’d be posting this. I always always used to pooh-pooh anyone saying how amazing they thought Alexa looked, thinking that I had no time for ‘it girls’, but boy was I wrong. I’ve spent the past few days (oh the joys of finishing college!) reading nearly every page of her post on the Fashion Spot, and can honestly admit that I have a full-blown girl crush.
I don’t know why I felt so hostile towards her before, I mean, i’m not a huge fan of her presenting, but her style (which is by no means groundbreaking..) is something I can really relate to. We both share a love of tan bags, coats over everything and patent shoes. Her favourite clothes seem to come from the designers i’ve featured here at WishWishWish recently…creepy!
You know it’s got bad when you search your girl-crush’s name on eBay…and especially when it leads to impromptu designer purchases – but more on that later..! xx

I think its really funny you say all this because for ages I didn’t see what all the fuss was about, then all of a sudden a couple of weeks ago I was googling her and everything wanting to see all her outfits! Lets go off and find her, we can go to her house when we’ve finished at Pete’s! You distract her whilst I pile her wardrobe into the boot of my car! <3

but now, i really admire her. her intelligence, and down-to-earth attitude. i guess you could call it a girl crush, but not really full blown.

I totally agree. Every part of me is totally jealous of her- great job, front row seats at chanel, cute boyfriend and brilliant wardrobe… but she’s still wonderfull to look at.

aaah i’ve always liked Alexa Chung, i agree with it not being ground breaking but she always manages to portray herself well and her personality seems pretty cool too!

I agree, I like her but I don’t at the same time. My friend works in a vintage shop called COW in Sheffield, (home of Alex Turner of Arctic Monkey fame, good to see he visits his mam once in a while!) and nearly died when she saw Alexa browsing. She said she was very nice and down to earth, so I guess at least she keeps it real!
