In the countryside

We’ve come to stay at Miguel’s dad’s house in the country for a little while. And whilst it’s very beautiful, the internet connection is terribly slow and there aren’t any shops for miles. I guess that’s part of it’s charm, but it means i’ll be spending the next few days playing cards and watching DVDs, as it’s just too hot to venture too far outside.

The above outfit is what i’ll call my “Alexa” outfit. I’m wearing a top from American Apparel, and the very same A.P.C Madras dungarees that Miss Chung wore recently on her U.S chat show. I feel a bit like a 4 year old boy/car mechanic when I put them on, and strangely enough, that’s not a bad thing. I’m in love with them. Expect to see this outfit again and again because anything that allows me to stay covered up whilst keeping cool is rare treat at the moment.

All I need now is some sunglasses, perhaps then i’d look less squinty/creepy in photos! xx

  • [...] When we come to Portugal we always visit Miguel’s Dad’s house, out in the middle of nowhere. Aside from sloping off to the beach, there isn’t much else to do besides eating, playing cards and watching films, but that’s what we love about it. All you can hear is the sound of frogs and crickets. I posted about it last year too, here. [...]
