Finally, the “dress” i’ve been trying to show you for weeks. I’ve had some bad luck trying to get photos, but I finally got my mum to take some before the sun went down this afternoon! I had my eye on this TBA dress back in August, I even posted about it, so I was a happy bunny when I got my hands on it before Christmas. I was hoping to wear it just as the models do on ASOS or Urban Outfitters (..as a dress) but it’d be indecently short, so layering up is the only option. Unfortunately I havent thought of a more exciting way to wear it other than over a black velvet bodycon dress, I think I need to get a bit more creative. Unless anybody wants to offer up a suggestion?
It has one of the most beautiful collars, and trust me when I say I own plenty of dresses with collars – it’s certainly my favourite.
Anyway, everybody has been talking about the new collection…
And whilst I love everything they’re stocking at ASOS and Urban Outfitters, I can’t help but hold out hope that I might be able to get my hands on the second two designs pictured above. I love the shirt-dress with the mismatched cuffs and buttons, and i’m even more enamored with the charles-anastase-SS10-stylee pink and orange dress – just imagine it with socks and black platforms. I need these items in my life, and i’ll happily save up if TBA make them available to purchase somewhere (please?!).
Although, I don’t think i’ll be getting my hands on any more of TBA’s silky dresses any time soon, as i’ve been saving for months for something special (more on that soon!) and I have a feeling i’m only going to be living on a charity shop budget for a little while…
..But for those dresses..I could make an exception…

Libe (from Not here to please you…) and I are going to Berlin next week, it will be snowing and you can easily guess that we, Spanish people, are not really used to cold weather haha we’ve thought of asking different bloggers that live in cold areas just like you about what to wear to survive cold temperatures and we’ll post the tips everyone’s given us before leaving. Your help would be so helpful! We don’t want to freeze hahaha

But don’t you hate when dresses have to be layered? It’s such a pain! But you did an excellent job! I think some navy blue sailor-inspired shorts underneath it might be another cute way to wear it!

The third dress from the new collection just screams fun! Tho I’d say the first one caught my eye most.
I have this dress, and had the same problem. I layered it over a skirt also from UO (http://www.urbanoutfitters.co.uk/High-Waist-Smocked-Diamond-Skirt/invt/5120601457414&bklist=icat,5,shop,womens,womensclothing,skirtsshorts) and wore my own belt (also gold and black) to try and make it a little more… puffy (I suppose) and kind of like a layered dress?!
